The Golf Car Business is for professionals who buy and sell golf cars and utility vehicles wholesale. Dealers, distributors, and anyone else legally eligible to buy or sell wholesale golf cars professionally can register for an account. This site is not for individuals looking to buy a golf car for personal use.

Escrow.com is the most secure payment method from a counterparty risk perspective. Escrow.com protects both buyer and seller so the funds are safe and transactions can happen without fear of being taken advantage of.

Create an account here with an email address and password, read and accept the terms and conditions, then click Register. You will then be directed to enter your name, business name, and business address.

Escrow.com requires specific documents to verify your identity and the identity of your business. The documents needed to verify your account will depend on the type of business you operate. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

We encourage each person using the site to have their own account but do what works best for your team.

After selecting the units you want and putting them in your Cart, continue to checkout. When redirected to Escrow.com, the Buyer submits payment to their Escrow.com account and coordinates shipping. When the funds are secured, the Seller will be prompted by Escrow.com to release the units. The Buyer has an Inspection Period of 72 hours to approve or deny the units when they arrive. After approval, Escrow.com releases the funds to the Seller.

The Inspection Period is 72 hours in which the Buyer may examine the units. The Inspection Period starts after the Buyer or Seller receives the merchandise. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

No. You are only able to purchase units from one Seller at a time.

If there is something wrong with the units that was not disclosed in the order, you can reject and return them during the Inspection Period. When the Seller receives the units back, they will have a 72-hour Inspection Period to determine the units weren’t damaged in shipping. After the Seller accepts the return, your funds will be returned to you, minus Escrow.com’s fees.

In the event of a canceled transaction or a partial refund to the Buyer, the Buyer’s funds will be refunded back to the original source of the payment method used to pay Escrow.com. Escrow.com charges fees to refund via wire transfer – $10 for domestic wires. The original escrow fee is also non-refundable. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

In the five-step Escrow process, Sellers get paid when the Buyer confirms their acceptance of the items. This is when the Buyer’s Inspection Period is completed. If the 72-hour Inspection Period elapses and the Buyer has not approved or rejected the items, the items are automatically approved and the Seller paid. Escrow.com releases funds to the Seller when the Buyer accepts products or after the Inspection Period has expired. Funds typically are processed within 1 business day. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

When a Buyer marks a transaction as accepted or the Inspection Period times out, the transaction status shows as complete. However, funds are still in escrow until the transaction is closed. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

If the Buyer has neglected to “Accept” or “Reject” the merchandise, Escrow.com will release funds to the Seller at the end of the Inspection Period, as long as Escrow.com can verify that the Buyer has received their merchandise. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

Currently, there is no way to limit who can purchase or see your inventory. Put golf cars on the site that you want to sell, regardless of who may buy them.

Once Escrow.com verifies and approves payment from the Buyer, Escrow.com notifies the Seller to ship or release the merchandise. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

The Golf Car Business has a list of preferred shippers that we recommend. However, you can use any shipping company you wish, as long as the shipping company provides online tracking to the other party’s address provided by Escrow.com. In the event you receive damaged merchandise, the receiver (Buyer or Seller) should first log onto Escrow.com and mark the merchandise as “Received” and then “Reject”. Then, they must file a claim with the shipping company. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

If the Buyer rejects an order after receiving it, they are responsible for covering the cost of shipping the item back. When the Seller receives and accepts the returned item, Escrow.com will refund the Buyer minus the Escrow.com fee. To view more information about Escrow.com’s process, click here.

The Golf Car Business is free to use, however, there are fees associated with each transaction. The Golf Car Business charges a broker fee of 2% per transaction; Escrow.com charges an escrow fee relative to the cost of the transaction.
